Comprehensive Digital Marketing Workshops
For years, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Fair Trade Group Nepal has been jointly collaborating and organizing Fair Trade Christmas Bazaar with the objective of promoting Fair Trade and providing market access to members and associated organizations; however, due to the pandemic outbreak this year, even though it is not feasible to organize the bazaar, both the organizations sought for other alternative, innovative ways to organize the event i.e, Promotion of Fair Trade Products through Digital Platform through online shopping/e-commerce site in Nepal.
FTG Nepal has realized that it is high time to delve and establish presence across the digital platforms with dedicated webpage in established online shopping sites for the promotion of FT products and to support its member organizations and producer groups to expand their market access domestically. Likewise, for member organization to adhere to and adapt to the changing way of doing business, there is the need of capacity building in online/digital marketing through workshops and trainings, expert consultancy services, and strategic monitoring and evaluation.
In order to capacitate the member organizations in the technical know-hows of digital marketing, various capacity building trainings/ workshops on digital marketing were provided to the members to develop skill on the real time and appropriate use of the medium. The following workshops were conducted virtually:
a. Digital Marketing (8th and 11th November, 2020)
b. Product Photography (9th November 2020)
c. Content creation (13th November 2020)
