Orientation on Fair Trade to National and Local Partner
Fair Trade group Nepal conducted one day orientation on Fair Trade to National Partner and local partner on 9th September 2019 at Association for Craft producer (ACP). The orientation was held with the objective to orient local partners to learn more about Fair Trade, its principles and practices; how Fair trade principle is contributing on Sustainable development goal and which principle is contributing on which goal of Sustainable development. 32 participants of two national Partners (JMC and Juri Nepal) and 5 local partner (Made Nepal, IRDC, SSDC, SWAN and SWAN) four members from each organization participated at the Orientation program. Mr. Chandra Prasad Kachhipati, Immediate past chairperson, FTG Nepal and Mr. Chitra Bahadur K.C, Chairperson, FTG Nepal and project Manager of Enhancing livelihood resilience through Fair Trade project of FTG Nepal had facilitated the orientation program.
