Training on Health and Safety at Workplace
A two days training on Health and Safety at Workplace was organized for the member organizations and secretariat on 29th and 30th August 2019 at Hotel Yellow Durbar, Sanepa, Lalitpur. The training program was supported by Global Village.
The training was formally proceeded upon opening remarks by Mr. Chitra B. K.C., Chairperson, FTG Nepal. During the training, important health and safety related components such as fundamentals of workplace health and safety, work equipment hazards and controls, electricity hazards and controls, fire safety, basics on first aid at work, Ergonomics, Emotional Intelligence (EI) and other important subjects were covered. The training methodology was participatory in nature with lectures, presentations, group work, simulation practice, visioning exercise and drills, practical game and role play, desktop yoga and meditation. At the end of the training, participants were distributed participation certificate. The training came to an end on the 30th August with closing remarks and vote of thanks by Ms. Shradha Thapa, Director, FTG Nepal.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Laxmi Bhattarai and Mr. Sudhir Dhungel and guest facilitated by Dr. Saurav Sunar.
