World Fair Trade Day 2020
This year, Fair Trade Group Nepal was not able to celebrate the World Fair Trade Day 2020 in a grand way as we had been doing with Rallies and events all these years due to the pandemic spread and Nationwide Lock down in country. Despite the situation, galvanize Tree Plantation in the premises of Ashadeep Nepal, a pioneering mental health organization located in Sundarijal, Kathmandu. Chairperson along with member of Executive Committee, Advisors planted over 100 saplings on 9th May 2020.
Likewise, Chairperson Chitra sir spoke on media about the affect of COVID-19 on marginalized producers, SMEs as well as the possible way forward to mitigate the affect. His article on this was published by Jagaran Media Center- our National Media partner and this article was published by other medias as well.
