Yak & Yeti Enterprises is a private limited company based in Kathmandu and established in 1983. The Enterprise works with over 50 producer groups and companies, whose products they bring to the world market. Some of the producer groups are small artisanal families who work in a family environment, while others may employ 100 people or more. Yak & Yeti Enterprises specializes in arts and crafts, silver jewelry, incense, cashmere, garments and new-age products. They pride themselves in providing a full spectrum of services to their customers, including immediate responses to customer needs and inquiries, a dynamic design and sampling process, stringent quality control and professional packing and handling. Many of their customers have been with them for two decades or more. Yak & Yeti Enterprises supports a Buddhist monastery school which provides a combination of both Buddhist and secular education for children from remote mountain regions.
