Advancing the Business Incubation Center Through Local Partnership
Fair Trade Group Nepal, with support from BMZ/WHH and in collaboration with WHH, RRN, MIC Nepal, and local governments, held coordination meetings with Aathbiskot Municipality and Barekot Rural Municipality to advance the establishment of the Business Incubation Center (BIC). The Feasibility Study on Potential Green Enterprises was handed over to both municipalities, who welcomed the findings and committed to integrating key recommendations into local plans. Aathbiskot nominated a BIC focal person, while Barekot agreed to nominate one at the next meeting. These commitments strengthen local ownership and lay the foundation for a sustainable BIC to promote green entrepreneurship and local economic growth.
