Interaction on "Promotion of Cultural and Creative Industry for Sustainable Development Goals"
Fair Trade Group Nepal together with FNCSI Lumbini Province and Jagaran Media Center organised an Interaction on "Promotion of Cultural and Creative Industry for Sustainable Development Goals" in Butwal today (12 April). The objective of the program was to develop local crafts, skills, resources based enterprise that would contribute in creating employment opportunities locally; promote local culture, crafts and resources; promote entrepreneurship. During the program, Dr. Sunil Chitrakar, Chairperson of Fair Trade Group Nepal made presentation on the topic highlighting role of government, private sector to realise this. This was followed by open discussion. Around 90 people including parliamentarians, Secretaries and senior officials from the ministries, member of the Planning Commission, Treasurer of Lumbini Development Trust, representatives from Private Sector, CSOs, media from Lumbini Province attended the program.
